Needed also:

– Take biometric photos x 4. Passport style.

– 2 copies of your passport including your entry stamp.

– 2 x copies of your insurance, your insurer should give you a Turkish and English version.

– Explanantion letter of why you want residence, in ( Turkish ).

Even though we were given an appointment, we got there early, and just showed the guard at the walk-through entrance our form, and were let straight into the Government compound. Address: Antalya İl Göç İdaresi Müdürlüğü, Bayındır, Gazi Blv. Yanyolu No:2, 07030 Muratpaşa/Antalya

2. # Insurance is compulsory

Insurance can be obtained before you arrive in Turkey. Very straightforward and very cheap for what you are covered for, or needed for the residency. Remember, this isn’t full travel insurance, just part insurance for your health!

3. # Have the right documents notarised and printed out twice

You need a document of rental or purchase of a home, where you will be staying for contact for your residence permit visa for turkey.

Once you have this printed and signed by your landlord or witness, you need to go to a notary office to have it notarized and there are many, we went to the nearest, number 18. You will also need to take your passport.

The cost is around 250 lira. Once you arrive at the office, get a numbered ticket from the machine and look for your number coming up, the girls will also shout the number, however, if you don’t speak Turkish, you may miss it!

They will then stamp and print another copy of your rental agreement, might be worth having two copies on arrival.

I actually overstayed for a month, before applying.

Due to my injury, therefore, I had to pay another 499 Lira.

Google translate from your language to Turkish and sign, if possible also get a witness signature as well.

You will then be given a stamped copy and a receipt to pay at another counter. This is very straightforward, and I was in and out within 45 minutes.

Would have been quicker, however, many car registrations get processed this way!

4. # Process of taking all your documents to the Government building

Arrive, go through the policed scanner, take your belonging out of your pocket.

Show your HES code to get into the appointment building for your residence permit visa for Turkey.

You can download the HES app, and match it with your passport and phone number, this is I believe, so they can track and trace you as of 10/11/2021 and needed for entry for many outlets shopping malls. “don’t worry it’s that bad”.

I had an appointment, however, I just queued up and was seen straight away.

The girls were bubbly and at least a few of them spoke good English. They instructed me to get another copy as l was short of a passport pic. then go and pay. The payment counter is more or less opposite the eaterie. Always best to be humble, even if you’re having a bad day.

1650 lira later for UK citizens, may be more or less for other passports.

Receive the receipt. Don’t lose it, as needed to show you’ve paid back at the application office.

Go back to the appointment counter, show the receipt and they will process and advise you of arrival.

5. # One-stop service, helping with your residency application.

One-stop service, which includes the following:

  • Filling in your application online form to make an appointment ( This is only with a purchase of insurance through our experienced insurers. )
  • Continued support via WhatsApp/FB etc.. By making sure you have all the right documentation as required. This may change from time to time as per the Governments orders!
  • Attending the government office with you. Walking you through the process.

Excluded from the price:

  • The rental agreement is notarized.
  • Insurance.
  • Residential permit
  • Transport to and from our meetings or attending the government office.
  • Cost of any additional paperwork, copies etc.
