Tour & Take In occasionally publishes contributed work that aligns closely with the focus of the site.
This is not a general guest-posting platform, and it is not a space for promotional or SEO-driven content. Contributions are considered on editorial merit alone.
The emphasis here is on the craft of travel writing — how attention, structure, voice, and restraint shape work that holds up beyond the trip itself.
What fits
Contributions should:
- engage seriously with the craft of travel writing
- be grounded in observation rather than itinerary
- reflect on place without relying on spectacle
- show deliberate structure and editorial intent
- read as considered writing, not content production
Essays, reflective pieces, and critical examinations of travel writing are welcome. The strongest submissions tend to be focused, specific, and restrained.
What does not fit
We do not accept:
- destination guides or travel tips
- list-based or keyword-targeted articles
- promotional content or backlink placements
- lightly edited drafts or AI-generated work
- personal travel diaries without editorial framing
If a piece exists primarily to promote a place, product, or service, it is unlikely to be a fit.
How to submit
If you believe your work aligns with the site, please send a brief message via the contact page including:
- a short description of the proposed piece
- links to one or two relevant writing samples
Please do not send full drafts unless requested.
Submissions are reviewed selectively. Not all enquiries will receive a response.
