Antalya Coastline
Kaleiçi is the historic city center of Antalya, Turkey. Part of the Antalya coastline.
Until modern times, almost the entire city was confined within its walls. It has structures dating from the Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, Ottoman, and modern Turkish republican eras. Most of it, however, dates to the late 18th and 19th centuries.
This article is about this stunningly beautiful coastline from Kaleici ( Old Town ) to Lara Beach. Which can be accessible by walking, tram, taxi, scooter board, or our chosen method of seeing the Antalya coastline from the sea.
This way you will see the caves, cliffs, and mountains heading towards Lara beach of this superb mystical Antalya coastline.
So head towards the Marina in the old town, if you’re hard on the walking status, you can get a taxi down to the Marina from the top near the clock tower or at the end of the Old Town slipway.
If you decide to walk down through the Old Town, you will come across various souvenir shops selling everything for the tourist, clam/oyster sellers, restaurants, bars, and a very scenic walk indeed!
Stop off on the way for a cold EFES, the local beer. You will pay anything from 18 Lira to 30 Lira, roughly around 1 – 3 English Pounds, at present, the exchange rate is good, around 19 Lira to the pound 17/1/2022
You can also find a small secluded cove beach Mermerli Plajı. This is accessible through Mermerli Restaurant.
This is a must-visit as the sea is swimmable/clean around the sunbeds and it has a small restaurant for snacks down by the beds or you can even order from the restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!
Or if you fancy a glass of Chi, Turkish tea after a dip. 2.50 Lira

Take some great pictures of these charming vessels, you may even see Jack Sparrow?
There is a small tourist office and a tourist polis office if you have any problems, don’t forget Google translate as English is very broken English throughout Turkey.
